Visual Basic / SQL Server 2000 Developer

HR Technologies, Inc., a Human Resources Systems software and consulting firm founded in 1997, is currently seeking a Programmer/Analyst to join our team as a Human Resources Software Developer. You will be involved in supporting our various clients' Human Resources Systems, developing and supporting custom Visual Basic and SQL Server applications, developing SQL Server triggers and stored procedures, and maintaining and enhancing our products.

REQUIREMENTS:
  · Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.
  · Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 7 or 2000.
  · Experience with SQL Server DTS a plus.
  · Experience with Human Resources and Payroll systems.
  · Experience with or knowledge of Ceridian Source 500 or eSource a plus.
  · Experience working in a consulting environment.
  · Ability to work effectively and productively under very aggressive deadlines.
  · Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  · Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and concepts.
  · Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

This position is located in and requires daily travel to our Santa Clarita, CA office. No relocation expense is available for this position. Only local Southern California residents or those willing to relocate to Southern California at their own expense need apply. Principals only please - no agency candidates will be considered.
