Employee Imaging System offers a simple and cost-effective
way to manage the processing and filing of employee-related
paperwork associated with the human resources function.
As a standalone system,
it allows for the filing and retrieval of employee paperwork
with the click of a mouse. Each piece of paper related to
an employee is scanned and indexed, making it readily retrievable
by processing clerks, HR managers, or anyone with the proper
authority.

Security is implemented
by employee, as well as document type, so that when the employee,
his or her manager, a potential hiring manager, or outside
legal counsel ask for the employee record, access is given
only to the documents appropriate for that person to view.
When the optional workflow
component is also purchased, HR transactions are routed to
the appropriate HR processor, with the employee’s electronic
file folder becoming the final destination of the document.
With forms designed for the Employee Imaging System, OCR (optical
character recognition) of the document ID, employee ID and
the document’s effective date make document identification
and filing a snap!
The system can be interfaced
to your human resources information system or used with our
generic employee table with periodic updates from your HR
system. HR Technologies will supply table layouts
and will work with your information services staff in the
design of this update process.
