Ceridian Source 500 Customization

Ceridian's Source 500 client-server HR/Payroll system is highly customizable, both within the application itself as well as outside of the system. HR Technologies has developed hundreds of customizations, from simple screen changes to complex add-on modules. Many customizations are done in Visual Basic 6.0 which allows the custom application to be added to the Source 500 toolbar or run within Activity Manager. Other customizations are done in SQL Server as triggers and stored procedures. Of course, the SQL Server version (Source 550) would be required in order to do customizations in SQL.

We have also assisted many customers on configuring Source 500 security, including row-level security. It is even possible to set up security similar to row-level security with Source 520 even though it uses a Microsoft Access database instead of SQL Server.
