Ceridian eSource Customization

Ceridian's newest HR/payroll product, eSource, is a web-based system hosted by Ceridian in their data center. Although not as customizable as their Client-Server product (Source 500), screens can be modified and new fields added to the system. Complex custom imports and exports are typically done within SQL Server as DTS jobs which in turn call stored procedures or execute SQL scripts directly. Triggers are also heavily used for many custom applications and, since eSource uses the same SQL Server database as Source 550, most customizations developed as triggers and stored procedures can also be used with eSource with little or no modifications.
